Today Veeam made generally available 4 new updates for 4 of the major components of the Veeam Availability Platform. Veeam Availability Suite that consists of both Veeam Backup & Replication and Veeam ONE both have their 9.5 update 3 update that I will touch on further down in the post. I kept a keen eye on AWS re:invent last week from afar, the event was held in Las Vegas and I have seen attendee totals of up to 45,000 that’s and incredible amount of people heading over there. VMware on AWS was a huge announcement at VMworld this year, this week at AWS Re:invent has seen a host of new announcements around this service including the ability to leverage AWS services over an Elastic Network Interface to the VMware Cloud on AWS. This morning on the final day of NetApp Insight 2017 in Las Vegas, it was announced in the General Session that Veeam would be added to the NetApp global price list.
