Welcome to the vZilla site. I as Michael Cade have been running this site now for the last few years, in different guises and different positions at various different companies. My interests from a technology point of view are really anything around the Data Centre arena.
My current focus is around evangelizing all things Kubernetes and Cloud-Native technologies, everyone is new here and it is my goal to share my learning journey.
Coming from an Implementation background specifically specializing in Cisco DC, NetApp Storage, and VMware, but also has worked very closely with other technologies including Veeam and Microsoft.
The reason for the site is to share and empower readers, I find if I can write about something that helps one person in the community then it’s worth it. I am a huge fan of the community in fact I owe pretty much my whole career to the IT Community, from working on a helpdesk for a small reseller and then moving through the ranks to implementation consultancy, Solution Architect, Technical Pre Sales and now in my current role as a Technical Evangelist at Veeam Software.
You will find me most commonly in my favorite haunt… the Twitters but you will also find me in many forums and also the slack channels for the community programs I am currently part of.
